agutterfan French chanteuse Melody's Echo Chamber has now become a band, and with a producer has now recorded a shiny pop artefact of dream pop beauty. Elements of Tame Impala & Broadcast, married to retro 60s psychedelia, heavily processed through gauzy synths, hazy vocals, shimmering guitars & synths, and distortion. Like all pop it's artifice is to be admired, my only criticism being that sometimes Melody's vocals are over processed, it would be nice to hear a slightly more natural vocal once or twice. Favorite track: Crystallized.

el ken dog prime I got this album because of KUCR though KUCR doesn't play Melody's Echo Chamber these days in 2017,(Well 1 or 2 DJs still play music from this album, but never heard it much when album was newish), but what they do play every day still in 2017 is a station ID promo she did with Shirim playing in the back (likely recorded when she was nearby at Coachella). After hearing it over and over I had to check out what Melody's Echo Chamber was all about I can now say this album has lots of great songs. Favorite track: I Follow You.

Lachlan Glasgow Just so incredible and ethereal. Has been a favorite for a very long time. Favorite track: Be Proud of Your Kids.
